Teens' Ministry

Teens’ Leader

Then the king(Nebuchadnezzar) ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring into the king’s service some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility—  young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace. He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians. – Dan 1: 3-4

The teen ministry we believe and know we are the future of the church. Enabling the teens with the equipment to drive the word and spirit of God to the next generation is paramount. Building our youth spiritually, handing responsibilities and raising christian warriors.

In todays society the use of technology and social media is driving the minds of the youth. As a ministry we see it as primary goal to ensure we grow the spiritual life of the youth by implementing a mentoring and one to one prayers; enabling guidance and support. To ensure the teens have the best platform to go on and become the leaders of the church as beyond.

Acknowledging the struggles and weakness the teens will and do face, such as bullying, sexual temptation and self esteem. Specific prayer sessions and transparent one on one discussions between leaders and the teens to build a bridge of trust. These things shall be achieved through : The equipping of wisdom through teachings on the spirit; where exploration of the spirit will be achieved.

The vision outlaid for the spirituality of the teens ministry is to raise up a generation spiritually on fire; with zeal and a yearning for more of God. The ministry firmly believes the spirit of the lord resides in every individual ( “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe my ordinances”) Ezekiel 36:27. Evoking the spirit of the Lord, cultivating the gifts of the spirit, and using these gifts to fulfil the will of God are what the teens ministry is striving for.
